ABOUT THE SHOW

Journey "under the sea" with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney's The Little Mermaid JR., adapted from Disney's Broadway production and the motion picture (featuring the enormously popular Academy Award-winning music and delightfully charming book and lyrics). Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories, Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance.

In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home — and her fins — behind and live in the world above. But first, she'll have to defy her father, King Triton, make a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, and convince the handsome Prince Eric that she's the girl whose enchanting voice he's been seeking.

Hannah-Kathryn aka 'HK' (she/her) is a NC-based professional actress. After leading Camp Pendragon the last two summers with Frozen Jr and Sleeping Beauty, Sort Of, HK is blessed to be returning to direct the upcoming production of The Little Mermaid. Previous credits include The Greatest Hits Down Route 66 (Off Bway), Buddy Holly Story (National Tour), and Heathers: The Musical (WCU). Music Director

Hawkins (he/him) is a Newark NJ based musician. He is so excited to return to Pendragon Theater and to work with this incredible team once again. He is starting his journey as a working musician and is forging into the world of musical theatre. He studied musical theatre at AMDA (American Musical and Dramatic Academy), and has since shifted and mixed his training with his prolific music background and has become an accomplished accompanist and music director. Thanks and appreciation to the friends who have helped him get to this point, his brother, his in-law, his boyfriend, and his hoot of a mother.
