CAMP PENDRAGON

Camp Pendragon is our unique summer program where we partner our talented local youth with professional theatre artists to rehearse, create, and perform a theatrical production during our active

Summer Season.

Our 2025 Camp Pendragon production is:

Treasure Island

a new hour-long adaptation of the Robert Louis Stevenson classic

by Jia Li

Is there singing?

This production is a play! Each year, we switch off between musical and play. There might still be some movement and choreography.

What if I don't get a role?

Everyone gets a role! Everyone who signs up before registration closes and are able to make the full commitment get a role, costume, etc. Now, some characters are bigger than others and there's a lot of competition for lead parts, but we ensure everyone has time on stage.

When are auditions?

Auditions will take place end of May / June. We will let you know as soon as a date is locked in, as well as what to prepare.

Is there an age limit?

Typically, our Campers are between 7th and 12th Grade (entering 7th or recently graduated from high school). If you think your potential Camper wants to be involved but doesn't fit that age bracket, reach out and let's talk!

Is there tuition?

Thanks to the generosity of the Lake Placid Education Fund, early bird tuition is $300 ($100/wk). Also, there is a sliding scale for scholarships, first come first serve.

When should I register?

Sign up by March 15th or the first 20 sign-ups are automatically enrolled! If you've missed the deadline, email info@pendragontheatre.org

What is the commitment?
