Special Events

SUMMER GALA

Each summer Pendragon holds a major fundraising event. It is our annual benefit and it is generally a great party and a vital part of the fundraising plan for the year.

Our 2009 Summer Gala will be in August . Please contact the Theatre --  (518) 891-1854 -- for more information.

There are great silent auction items donated by area merchants, good food and drink, great company, a zany live auction (which some say must really be seen to be believed), a silent auction, and just a lot of good fun – which also supports the Theatre! A good time for a good cause.

ANNUAL WINE TASTING

Pendragon Theatre hosts an annual benefit Wine Tasting Festival at the Interlaken Inn & Restaurant in May each year.

The event presents over 40 wines / select beers / gourmet food by Chef Richard / entertainment and a silent auction.

GALLERY

MATT PAUL & MARIA DeANGELO in PENDRAGON'S GALLERY

“Old Dogs, New Tricks” will be in the Pendragon Theatre gallery from July 5- 30, 2010.

Matt and Maria have been making art together for 22 years. Both artists are BFA graduates from the New York State Ceramics at Alfred University.

They currently live in Saranac Lake with their children Max and Morgan, and an inspirational and crazy dog named Kira.
“Old dogs, new tricks” combines new oil pastel drawings by Matt and sculptures by Maria. Matt’s drawings are portraits based on Rudyard Kipling’s “Just So Stories”. Maria’s new sculptures are about playing with words and creating visual puns.

Both artists have been included in shows at the Adirondack Artist’s Guild, Bluseed Studios, Lake Placid Center for the Arts. Currently, they both have work touring with the North Country Artists in Public Spaces Show by ACNA. They are members of Saranac Lake Artworks.

A reception for the artists will be part of the Thursday Art Walk, Thursday, July 15 from 5-7 p.m. at Pendragon.
For more information about the gallery or any of Pendragon’s extensive summer repertory, contact the theatre at 518-891-1854, via e-mail:pdragon@northnet.org.

AUDITIONS

Pendragon generally auditions for its productions three times a year: the Fall production 2nd/3rd week in September; the holiday plays late October early November and for our biggest season (summer) in late February /early March. We often also go to NYC to audition, NETC and Boston . We accept resumes at any time but they are best received in conjunction with a particular upcoming season. Always feel free to call with questions.

For further information or questions about future auditions please contact Pendragon at 518-891-1854 or via e-mail: pdragon@northnet.org.

Pendragon Theatre is supported in part by public funds from the
New York State Council on the Arts, a New York State agency.
